Mid-Columbian 2010 Photo Contest

People and places that call this beautifully-diverse region home can inspire countless spectacular shots. From your backyard to the countryside, from low river basins to towering mountain slopes, there is always something worth capturing in a photo. So, grab your cameras and get ready to take that first-place photo. See what amazing photography you can capture in 2010.

Prize-winning photos will be published in an exciting eight-page spread in our Spring 2011 issue. The Top Ten winners will receive a two-year subscription to Mid-Columbian magazine, with the first-place winner also receiving a $100 gift certificate.

All entries must be recieved by December 31, 2010.

Subjects
Subjects can be anything of your choosing. Photos must be taken in the Mid-Columbia region. Please do not submit any family portraits or the like.

Photo Requirements
Submit your digital camera images as high-resolution RAW, JPEG, or TIFF files, in that order of preference. Use a digital camera with a resolution of at least six megapixels and use the camera’s highest resolution settings. Don’t crop or edit the photos, as this can lead to image reproduction problems.
